About us...

Island MishMash is a mother and daughter team and like you, we love our Caribbean snacks and food! We know how lucky we are to be living in South Florida and being able to easily access all the things we enjoyed eating from back home ( even though my daughter was born in New York, her appreciation is a little different from mine). She definitely has her favorites like Digestive, Kiss Cake and Orchard :). I know, no snacks or food here can compare to the ones I grew up on in Trinidad. And I'm sure it’s the same for all of you island people. Really, our love for helping others encouraged us to create this site so we can bring you a little taste of your childhood memories.

Most of the Caribbean islanders from Barbados, Antigua, Grenada etc grew up on the same snacks and food items that came from the factories in Trinidad and Jamaica. And we know how much you appreciate a little piece of home. So we are trying to bring a little variety from every category. I know everyone has their own favorites and if we don’t have what you are looking for we definitely will try to source it for you.
