Vermicelli or Sawine is a rich creamy milk based desert made with evaporated and condensed milk, raisins, almonds, maraschino cherries and cinnamon. This traditional dessert is usually made on Eid-ul-Fitr a Muslim holiday but enjoyed throughout the year. It's one of those desserts you just can't have enough of!
