Bhagi Rice lovers, try our version! Package comes with Rice, Dehydrated Spinach ( Churai Bhagi), Dehydrated Ochroes, Turmeric, course ground Pumpkin and Pimentos. One pack of coconut milk powder included. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.
Method:
Soak Spinach Rice mix until ingredients expand 5-6 mins.
Heat pot with oil and add chopped onions, garlic, celery, chives. You can also add some fresh peppers, ochroes, pumpkin, meat or saltfish for an enhanced taste.
Saute for 2 mins, add rice and saute for another 5 mins. Add coconut milk and salt to taste. Reduce heat and cook until tender until looks like Pelau.
