With such a diversity of cultures in Trinidad. Chinese preserves have always been a favorite of many. From Mangoes, Plums, Pommecythere, Cherries to Peaches. It could just be the sweet, spicy taste that's addictive!
Yes it is an acquired taste, but it was exactly as I remembered it growing up. They arrived very quick and were very fresh.
