Guyana

Guyana's culture reflects the Amerindian, Nepalese, Indian, Chinese, and African influences, as well as British, Dutch, Portuguese, and Spanish facets. Despite being in South America, Guyana is considered a Caribbean nation. The culture, particularly in the coastal areas, is quite similar to that of the West Indies.

Guyanese love their curries, cook-up rice and pepperpot dishes! It takes a real skill to create a " fling up and clap roti"! Guyanese have a sheer love for egg balls wrapped in seasoned potato or cassava mixture and deep fried with a nice cold cherry juice. Let's discover some of the flavors of Guyana, check out our collection!
